YAF Teen Leadership Retreats aim's to motivate and inspire the leader within every teen. Over-night retreats are held in camp settings and include motivational speakers, leadership exercises, small group sessions, interactive workshops, and a recognition ceremony.

 

Fun, insightful, intense and life changing, these three-day camps will bring about a positive change in every teen that attends.  Themes throughout the camp include bias awareness, cliques, bullying, hate speech, cultural awareness and so much more. Inter-active workshops, small group sessions, informational workshops with audience participation to keep everyone interested, involved, and engaged.

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Youth Achievers foundation welcomes ALL students in grades 7 – 12, we are open to any teen who wishes to attend. Teen leaders and those who think they may have leadership potential but haven’t yet stepped up to any leadership role will have that opportunity. Teens who believe they have no leadership potential and are least likely to stand in the limelight.

• Leadership concepts – roles of leaders and followers, ethics & group facilitation

• Bias awareness, diversity issues and stereotyping

• Goal setting and setting priorities

• Communication skills
